Michelle Welch
Director of Portfolio Accounting
Michelle Welch is responsible for implementing best-in-class accounting practices across Allied’s portfolio. In addition to accounting practices, Michelle implements new reporting structures and institutionalizes portfolio companies financial reporting. Michelle leads portfolio companies in their audit preparation. She draws on more than 20 years of experience in accounting with more than 10 years in outsourced accounting.
- Prior to joining Allied, she was a Director at global accounting firm BDO, and earlier, she spent 10 years as a Senior Manager at audit, tax and advisory firm Anton Collins Mitchell LLP.
- Michelle has been working with the Allied team since its investment in CES Power (June 2021).
Education
Michelle attended Colorado State University.
Personal
Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, but her favorite hobby is hiking.
